Luxor is the world’s greatest open- air museum. It was described by Homer as “ The hundred- gated city (Thebes)”, the Arabic name: El- Luxor” the city of the palaces. Luxor is practically floating on antiquity at the east bank of the Nile we can see Luxor, and Karnak temples. Karnak is considered to be the largest temple in the whole world. At the west bank where you can explore the necropolis of Thebes, Valley of the kings, Valley of the queens, Hatshepsut temple, Habu city, and the Nobleman cemetery.
